The Peach Tree Restaurant and Café Bar is situated directly opposite the historic and beautiful Shrewsbury Abbey – just across the English Bridge in Abbey Foregate.

If you’re coming in to Shrewsbury from the M54 you’ll find us before you even need to go across the English Bridge into the town centre!

Parking.

FREE PARKING
We’ve got excellent parking facilities right on our doorstep. Firstly, there’s limited on-street parking directly outside the restaurant – but there are time restrictions - you’re limited to just one hour directly outside - although a bit further up Abbey Foregate (after the disabled parking space) you can stay for up to 3 hours!

PAY & DISPLAY CAR PARK
A 300+ capacity pay and display car park (and also coach park as well) is located opposite us and Shrewsbury Abbey – it’s just a stone’s throw away!

Parking charges are pretty reasonable too...

Monday to Saturday from 8am-8pm:

1 hour £1; 3 hours £1.70; 12 hours £2.50 - and FREE after 8pm

Sunday £2.50 all day - and FREE after 8pm

The parking charges apply everyday including Bank Holidays and Public Holidays.

And if you’re bring a coach load of you across to us – then this is also the place to park – the charge for coaches is £5 for each 24 hours.
